Project evaluation is an important aspect of a project because it enables the project manager to keep track of costs, tasks, and time during the entire project lifecycle.  Project evaluation involves measuring the project’s success by gathering data about the project and using the determined evaluation method so the evaluator can find performance improvement opportunities (Galas et al., 2018).  The project team therefore ought to define how the project will be evaluated during the design phase so the method can be determined on time and be implemented to determine the effectiveness or success of the project.  It also ensures that the project manager is aware of the measure being evaluated and in case of deviation
