Solution:Intervention Fidelity
Part 1
Intervention fidelity can be defined as the extent to which a particular intervention is implemented as intended (An et al., 2020). Intervention fidelity can be accessed using five measurable constructs namely adherence, dosage, quality of intervention delivery, participants responsiveness, and program differentiation (An et al., 2020). In the context of my practice change, fidelity indicates the degree to which DSME is implemented as intended. This will be achieved by ensuring adequate education on how to offer DSME and providing adequate resources and evaluation during the intervention period to ensure that all the individuals received the intervention in similar ways using the same method.
